Industrial Oils - Lubricating Oils & Greases

The manufacturers of all the machinery used in the world, whether it is industrial, commercial or consumer, are all after one thing, to maximise the performance of their machines.

They have this goal simply because that way they maximize productivity and shorten any downtime. In turn this increases 'consumer' satisfaction. Any business with a large satisfied customer base has an advantage over those who don't, something that can make all the difference in today's competitive environment.

One of the most vital factors in extending the life of machinery and in improving it's performance is the oft overlooked one of using the correct lubrication oils, greases and fluids.

How to Choose the Right Industrial Lubricating Oils

With all the variations of equipment and operating conditions, together with the large number of manufacturers, it has become quite difficult to select the right lubricant in every case.

The issue of the many forms, formulations, brands, and prices that abound today has been compounded by the fact that some types of industries have come up with their own standards and regulations.

All of this has made the task of choosing the right industrial oil product more confusing, yet even more vital, especially as getting it wrong may have widespread negative effects.

So, what is the best way to locate the right industrial lubricating oils, or in the instances where the right type of oil does not exist, how can you get it developed?

The answer is easy, talk to the experts at Exol. Throughout the company's history, Exol's experts have assisted countless companies in the selection of the right lubricants, whilst our product development team has been at the forefront of lubrication technology.

One of the many useful lubricants in demand today is Lithium Grease.

What is Lithium Grease

Lithium grease, also known as "lithium soap", is a lubricant grease containing a lithium derivative of soap (the term being used in its chemical non-household connotation).

Soaps for lubrication and as form-release agents, are derived from a range of metals. Amongst the most useful of these non-detergent soaps are those based on lithium. Their main components are lithium sterate and lithium 12-hydroxysterate.

Lithium grease is well suited to industrial uses as it adheres well to metal, is non-corrosive and may be used under heavy loads. It also exhibits excellent tolerance to high temperatures.

Whatever your needs, our specialist team are there to assist, and if the right type of product is not available now, we can as stated above develop one (subject to quantities of course).
