Exol releases dexos2™ licenced synthetic oil

Exol Lubricants has launched dexos2™ approved Optima LSGM 5W-30, a new generation fully synthetic multi-grade engine oil, helping to reduce fuel consumption while ensuring maximum engine protection.

Covering a wide variety of passenger cars and vans fitted with petrol and diesel engines, Optima LSGM 5W-30 is formulated from premium hydrocracked synthetic base stocks, the very latest detergent-dispersant additive package and shear stable polymers.

The reduced levels of SAPS (sulphated ash, phosphorus and sulphur) in Optima LSGM 5W-30 ensures compatibility with after treatment systems, such as particulate filters and catalytic converters, and its frictional characteristics promote a reduction in fuel consumption.

Exol’s reputation for delivering fuel-saving solutions is nothing new, and the introduction of Optima LSGM 5W-30 demonstrates its continuing commitment to bringing the benefits of fuel saving lubricants to the independent aftermarket, while covering a wide range of automotive and CV applications.

Fully approved by General Motors, Optima LSGM 5W-30 is suitable for use with manufacturers including Chrysler, Citroen, Daewoo, Daihatsu, Honda, Hyundai, Isuzu, Land Rover, Lexus, Mazda, Mercedes Benz, Nissan, Peugeot, Renault, Saab, Subaru, Suzuki, Toyota and Vauxhall.
