Exol Lubricants-partnered Formula 4 driver races to victory at 2025 British Grand Prix
Exol Lubricants-partnered racing driver, Rowan Campbell-Pilling, competed at the 2025 Formula 1 Qatar Airways British Grand Prix from 4th – 6th July, as the 18-year-old driver made a guest appearance as part of the Formula 4 series, taking home third place.Representing JHR Developments for a second season, Sheffield-born Campbell-Pilling was among the few rising stars of Formula 4 who got a chance to showcase their talent in front of crowds of 480,000, as the Formula 4 series raced for the first time ever at the British Grand Prix.
The event was an opportunity for the Exol brand to be displayed on the world stage. A feat that was achieved, with Campbell-Pilling achieving an impressive podium finish of third place.
Speaking before the event, Campbell-Pilling relished the prospect; “Having driven at Silverstone on multiple occasions, that race weekend will mean that little bit more.
“Racing on the same weekend as F1 feels like a significant milestone as I hope to follow in the footsteps of drivers who have honed their skills in my category before making the leap to Formula 1. I’m excited to also be joined by my partners, Exol Lubricants, who were able to witness my performance on race day.”
The event proved momentous for Formula 4, as this was the first time the racing class was added to the British Grand Prix event schedule.
Steve Dunn, Sales and Marketing Director at Exol Lubricants, commented: “The whole team at Exol are immensely proud of Rowan and his efforts at the British Grand Prix, demonstrating both bravery and endeavour in his performance.
“Exol’s commitment to investing in people stretches across all our operations. We’re committed to promoting and encouraging talent in all areas of the company – and supporting young talent inside and outside the business. We can’t wait to see how Rowan progresses throughout the rest of the year.”
Campbell-Pilling will next be seen in action at Zandvoort, one of the most challenging circuits on the calendar, on 26th – 27th July.
